Margie Wannamaker: Victorian Dollhouse

Margie Wannamaker with her dollhouse.

Margie Wannamaker’s doll house has kept her occupied for many years. Here is her description of the project:

I, with the help of my husband, Fred, started building my dollhouse in October, 1999. I named it Vista Heights Manor. The original blue prints for the Nob Hill Victorian were put out by Shellie Kazan of Shellie’s Miniature Mania, now in San Carlos. My house is an Italianate Victorian circa 1860, but I decorated it to present time so I could include memories and representations of our family members. Having completed this dollhouse is a dream come true for me and it houses my collection of minis. I enjoyed having the Chico Mini Club, the club I belonged to many years ago, visit and view my dollhouse. Now I am in the process of landscaping around my house. And I look forward to having the club back again when I finish that.
