“The Cabinet of Lost & Found” Workshop at the First Annual Tiny Talk at Red Hawk Event

Join the Sacramento area miniaturists for their first annual Miniature Play Day — a fun-filled day of mini making, networking and merriment. The day will begin with putting together the 1:12 scale cabinets and decorating them after lunch. Attendees will receive a laser cut cabinet kit. Bring your own tools and glue (a list of recommended tools will be supplied after registration). Supplies will also be available for sharing. You will receive some adorable accessories for your cabinet. Ideas for your cabinet: sewing room cabinet, crafter’s cabinet, apothecary, witch’s hutch. Cost: $60 includes 1:12 scale cabinet kit and buffet style lunch. Download the reservation form.

New to polymer clay? This beginner technique class is the perfect introduction. Designed for complete beginners, we’ll cover the basics of conditioning clay, blending colors, and learning simple techniques that form the foundation for endless creative projects. You’ll get hands-on guidance as we explore texture, shaping, and finishing tips, and you’ll leave with finished pieces and the confidence to keep creating at home. Tools to bring to class: tweezers, small scissors, X-Acto knife, size small tip 00 or 0 paintbrush, and your personal tools. The instructor will bring other tools and materials needed for students to use in class. No prior experience is needed. Just bring your curiosity and creativity! Cost: $85.00.
