NAME Day 2024 – MiniCals and Through the Looking Glass Miniature Clubs are Looking for Your Input

Are you planning to attend, or would you like to attend a NAME Day event? MiniCals and Through the Looking Glass miniature clubs will be offering their NAME Day event in Morgan Hill, California.

NAME Day 2024 will be a bit different than previous years. There will not be a new project for 2024. Instead, NAME will be offering all of the previous NAME Day projects for purchase.

As a help to the event organizers, please let them know which of the following projects you’d like to repeat or do for a first time:
• The Hutch(2010)
• The Alcove (2012)
• The Cart (2013)
• Window Shopping (2015)
• 3-sided vignette (2023)
• Another choice

Send your choice for consideration to Ruth Heisch, grouchybeartoo@aol.com.

2019 N2 Region NAME Day Events

This year’s NAME Day event is ”The Dream Craft Room”, starting with the crafting table. Plans for the craft table have been provided in 1”, ½” and ¼” in the NAME Gazette.  Some cutters will produce kits for 1/144” scale. Cutters have been encouraged to develop accessories to go on or in the storage areas of the crafting table. This will be a two year project, with a storage unit (including a sink) to be the second part of the series in 2020.

Please see below for various event dates.

To participate in NAME Day, you must be a NAME member, or become a member. Please contact one of the N2 region members who are hosting an event (below). If you are unable to attend a local event, you may purchase a kit from Barbara Thornton-Hill or other cutters.

Online events are also happening (see below).
