Margaret Gordus: Remakes of Projects Lost in the Camp Fire

Using gifts from miniature friends, Margaret was able to complete these projects that she lost in the 2018 Camp Fire.

Margaret writes:
Members of “the miniature world” made it possible for me to complete the little girl’s room, toy shop & Oriental room. There are no truer words than, “Only through sharing can we really enjoy our treasures.”

Margaret’s club had made the gypsy wagon as a project. Club member, Melba Wellsfry, gave Margaret an unfinished wagon, which Margaret completed as a gift for her son.

Thank You from the Mini Club Members who Lost their Homes in the Camp Fire

Our Little Mini Club Chico/Paradise wishes to thank the “Miniature
World,” who opened their hearts by having fundraisers, workshops and
donations after six members lost their homes in the Camp Fire/Paradise
wildfire on November 8, 2018.

On March 19, 2019, we received gift cards, notes and greeting cards from NAME members and non-members. Words cannot express our gratitude for the support,
generosity and kindness of friends and strangers.

Your thoughtfulness will always be remembered!

  • Book from the Minneapolis houseparty (souvenir?). The book is about trees, signed by the author.
  • A wicker stand similar to the one shown in the photo.

Margaret Gordus: Dining Room & Art Gallery
