Good Sam is run completely by volunteers from the mini world and from the Plane Tree Library. The show is in need of people to help with various tasks (watching the exhibits and helping with the white elephant sales table, for example).

All volunteers receive free show admission. Volunteers are usually asked to work 2 hour shifts, but if more people sign up, the time will be decreased.
